Counseling Center & Services

The Place of Refuge has been operating out of borrowed spaces at various sites in North Philadelphia. We will be opening the doors to our Counseling and Training Center in Spring of 2007.

Located in inner-city Philadelphia, The Place of Refuge is made up of a multi-cultural group of psychologists, counselors, social workers and volunteers. We believe that it is of vital importance that individuals and families in these most at-risk groups have services that acknowledge stress related to a complex matrix of political, social, spiritual and cultural influences.
